CHRISTMAS A TIME OF HOPE FOR ALL.

Christmas is the greatest and most excited time and season in the Calender of every Christian, afterall it is the birthday of Jesus Christ our Lord!. Why because it is the entrance of ‘God on Earth’, the time God came down from heaven to stay in the midst of His creation. He sent us Jesus His only begotten Son, JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, the son of David, the LIGHT OF THE WORLD. His coming had been predicted hundreds of years ago by many prophets including Isaiah, Jeremiah, Amos, Daniel, John the Baptist but most pronounced of them all was Prophet Isaiah. 700 years before the birth of Jesus Christ himself!.
HE WOULD PERFORM MIRACLES
Bible prophecy: Isaiah 35:4-6
Prophecy written: Between 701-681 BC
Prophecy fulfilled: About 27-31 AD
Isaiah, who lived about 2700 years ago, prophesied that there would come a time when God would arrive and heal the eyes of the blind, the ears of the deaf, the mobility of the lame, and the voice of the mute.
Jesus did each of these things in a spiritual sense, in offering truth and salvation, and in a literal sense by performing miracles of healing.
Isaiah 35:4-6 (NIV):
4 say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”
5 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
6 Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
Today we are celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and the entrance of light into a world of great darkness. Without Him we would still be in darkness, the same darkness that covered the earth still remains the same. A life without Christ is dangerous, chaotic filled with death and pervertness. War breeding all around us, there is the stench of death, abomination has become normal, lust of the flesh more profitable and sadly powerful. The Antichrist has risen more powerfully and with potency, technology has brought more strategic arsenal to destroy the Children of Light.
Suffering, poverty, loneliness and sickness is affecting more Christians than ever, the enemies hatred is magnanimous and intensified on all levels, in all circles. We therefore know the coming of the Lord is sooner than expected. With the birth of Jesus came, light, hope, joy and inner peace. With Jesus we became empowered in Christ, knowing our time and life is in HIS HANDs, for what can man do?, with God lies ALL POWERS.
Suddenly we have hope that there is a higher God who loves us and has a plan for us a clarity that indeed ‘ we are not alone’, and showed us the way to overcome the World and its trials. In my current reading book called ‘CLARITY’ by Jamie Smart he states that ‘An addict is someone who’s trying to use a visible solution to solve an invisible problem‘. Most problems are Spiritual and without Jesus cannot be conquered. No amount of alcohol, drugs, money can deliver the tormented soul except a ‘higher power’ JESUS CHRIST
Jamie Smart further states.. If a pond is clouded with mud, there’s nothing you can do to make the water clear. But when you allow the mud to settle, it will clear on its own, because clarity is the water’s natural state’. Hence the bible says.. The truth you know shall set you free. God has sent us the truth, the light and living water, He says if anyone is hungry or thirsty for life and peace, then come to JESUS who gives freely.
As we celebrate another birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ, I want you to reassess your walk with Jesus Christ, are you faithful to HIM? are you walking in HIS LIGHT?, are you seeking out the Lost and bringing them to HIS Kingdom?. Remember it is by grace you yourself was saved.
In this season of merriment reach out to your friend, your neighbour, join a charity, volunteer your time, declutter your wardrobe full of clothes and shoes you haven’t touched in a year, give them to charity, bless someone and the Lord who sees your heart in secret will bless you in public.
For you my brother or sister going through hardship, remember Jesus is in the midst of your storm, perhaps He is sleeping like the story says Mark 4:35-41 and all you need to do is put your faith in Him that ‘He’s got it!’ or maybe you need to wake him up!, go on your knees, keep praying, keep knocking, keep praising Him, knowing your time has come, your own joy cometh too in the morning. Jesus wont forsake you, he see’s your pain, He hear’s your cry and very soon like the woman with the issue of blood, the rest will be history.
I congratulate you brethren for the birth of our Redeemer Jesus Christ, Emmanuel ‘God with us’ and your acceptance of Him into your life as God and Saviour is the beginning of a new life.
It is also never too late my friend if you haven’t accepted Him as your Lord and Saviour, why not give HIM a try this year 2016. Test Him and you will see that The Lord is GOOD!. (I am always here to lend a helping hand, if needed)

I may not know what you going through today. The sorrow, the hardship, the pain. But though the mountain crumple and the oceans rage and war against my soul the devil may wage. Though the tempest has turned my smile up side down, and my life is like a river of sorrow in which I drown, yet will I stand. Unshaken for as long as He lasts. Faithful is He that promised and it shall come to pass. If God be for us then who can stand against?
The God who spoke all the earth into form. He said let there be light, let it be bright. Let there be day. Let there be night. Out of the sound of His voice birds, fish and trees did come. The mountain they melt like wax, the hill skip like young cows. At the sound of the voice of God that we serve, our help in ages past. Our hope for years to come. Beside thee oh Lord WE HAVE NO OTHER GOD BUT YOU!
